With her modern styling and innovative interior, the Sea Ray 310 Sundancer will doubtless appeal to upscale family cruisers willing to pay top dollar for a quality mid-size express.  (Note that Sea Ray built an earlier 310 Sundancer model - later called the 330 Sundancer - in 1990-93.)  Like all of Sea Ray's express boats, the 310 is built on an easy-riding deep-V hull with moderate beam, cored hullsides, and a solid fiberglass bottom with prop pockets.  While not unique, the original floorplan - with it's double-entry cneterline head - is unusual in that it provides head access from the mid cabin as well as the main cabin.  Note that this layout was replaced in 1999 with a more conventional interior.  On deck, the spacious cockpit is arranged with a huge U-shaped lounge aft (convertible into a sun pad), a wet bar, and a double-wide companion seat next to the drop-down helm seat on the bridgedeck.  Additional features include an easily accessed engine compartment, transom door and a broad swim platform.  The 5.7L V-drive inboards will cruise the Sundancer at 18-19mph and reach 31mph top.
